Prepare For Success

the days prior.

  1. What you put in your body matters! Drink ample water, & avoid alcohol.

  2. Get plenty of sleep.

  3. Apply lotion.

  4. Spray tans & tanning lotions may give your skin an orange hue in your photos which is often not correctable in post-processing.

  5. Pack your bag the day before, so as to eliminate added stress the day-of.

  1. Be Cheery! Photo-Day can be very stressful, and it is not uncommon to forget to leave the stress and negativity at the car.

  2. Use clear deodorant.

  3. Wear loose-fitting clothing. Anything that is very fitting (including panties!) will leave imprints on your skin.

  4. Apply (and bring) full-body lotion.

  5. Leave the "cheese" at home. Nobody likes forced smiles, so just allow yourself to have fun!

  6. Leave plenty of time to get ready and arrive to your session, as your session time begins right at the time specified. Being a few minutes early ensures your session starts stress-free. (And who doesn't love a stress-free experience?)

  7. Plan for traffic.

  8. If getting hair/makeup done, arrive with a freshly cleaned face.

  9. Add time for makeup & hair touch-ups, as well as leaving a buffer for dressing.

  10. I recommend leaving the extra visitors at home. While everyone is different, oftentimes having an additional "audience" increases the amount of stress and vulnerability experienced during the session.

  11. If booked with friends, I recommend coming &/or staying for their sessions as well. It opens up many opportunities for smooth, enjoyable sessions!

packing your bag

  1. Outfits: It's important to have a selection of outfits, without adding to your day-of stress levels by having too many options. Lucky for you: I supply a handful of outfits hand-selected for each session! Please arrive early to receive and try on your outfit.

  2. Private Session: While we can expect to use 2-3 outfits during a luxury experience, I recommend bringing 1-2 personal or sentimental items as well, such as a shirt from your significant other's closet.

  3. Boudoir Bash: We may expect to use 1-2 outfits during a boudoir bash appointment slot. Though not necessary, you are welcome to bring an outfit option. If additional outfits are desired, please book additional time.

  4. Accessory Ideas: jewelry, body chains, knee-high socks, button-down shirts, robes, cuffs/collars, etc.

  5. Makeup & Hair Supplies: bring a basic backup set for touchups.

  6. Lotion: reapply right before your session to give your skin a healthy glow.

  7. Alcohol: bring your favorite alcohol! This is helpful to take the edge off, relieve stress, and encourage natural movement. Bring to share to a Boudoir Bash group, or include your name on the bottle if only for your private use.
