5 Ways to End Your Year

It's the last Friday of 2023, and hopefully you're ending the year feeling calm, collected, and prepared for the year ahead. But in case you're feeling that it's "running you over," here are a few things we can do to add a little good to each day as we launch 2024.
Be kind to yourself. There's absolutely nothing wrong with feeling your feelings, but do so without self-defeating words. Silence that self-critic, and just allow yourself space to feel your emotions before you let them go.
Build trust in yourself by keeping promises to yourself. Keep your New Year's Resolutions manageable, opting for bite-size micro habits. Want to start waking up early and hitting the gym each morning? Try promising yourself you'll get up 10 minutes earlier each week. Want to drink more water? Try promising yourself you'll drink a glass of water upon waking up. Whatever the goal, make it an opportunity to build belief in yourself and your convictions.
Do something every day which brings you joy. (Bonus points for cutting something out which does not bring you joy!)
Declutter your mind. Set a timer for 5 minutes and do a brain dump. Allow all the thoughts that have been weighing on your mind spill out onto the page. Afterwards, dig through & organize these thoughts into manageable actions.
Express gratitude.
Stay tuned for some Vision Planning for 2024!
